Clinical Trial Introduction

• The Helios Group specializes in working with clinical research naïve sites, such as community hospitals, private medical practices, nursing homes and home health care agencies. One of the first needs that this type of client has is fulfilled when Helios provides an overview of the clinical trial process from concept and design through execution. We introduce the elements involved in implementing and managing a clinical study at a site.

Clinical Group Development

• We identify key structural elements necessary for successful completion of clinical trials. Helios supports in defining resources and conditions needed to promote clinical research at an institution, such as assisting sites in detailing all individuals and departments necessary to clinical research and their roles and interdependencies. We also assist sites in selecting key therapeutic areas to target. In addition, Helios can identify specific clinical trials that fit that site’s capabilities and assist them in participating in such trials.

Training of Key Team Members

• Helios assists the required key team members in developing an understanding and knowledge of clinical research trials and the numerous complexities of the drug development process. We advise and provide guidance in identifying appropriate certification and training programs, meetings and seminars available.

Operational Clinical Activity Guidance

• Helios offers expertise needed in contract evaluation, negotiation and execution. We assist in the process development for contract review and finalization, as well as payment and disbursement within the institution.

Clinical Trial Oversight and Support

• The Helios Group is available to provide the necessary oversight and management of clinical trials conducted at institutions.
